Our next board member to highlight is our new Co-Chair of Special Events, Aaron Brickhouse. Aaron is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Cambria Hotel Plano/Frisco and has been there for 7 years!. We asked Aaron a few questions, check them out below!
How many years have you been in the travel industry?
A: 7 years
What is your favorite thing about your job or the travel industry?
A: My favorite thing about my job is watching my team have success. Nothing is better than rewarding a deserving team member. My favorite thing about the travel industry is realizing how small it is. No matter how far we all travel and how large the world seems, connections made are long-lasting and I frequently cross paths with connections I have cultivated all over the US, not just Texas.
What is your motto for the 2023 year?
A: There is always something to be thankful for
Where is your dream travel destination or perfect vacation?
A: My bucket-list vacation is Machu Picchu located in the Cusco Region of Peru. The architecture and mystery surrounding its use is intriguing.
How long have you been a GBTA or DFW Chapter member?
A:2019
